I suppose I could copy and paste. But... eh. If you listen to post-rock, you'll appreciate my latest post. If you like my overly sentimental, overly jargonized writing, you'll like it, too. Check it out.
Tell me if it sucks ahaha

Ignore the pink.
I found a new way to get double eyelids! Forget the cosmetics and the surgery! Just get some eczema on your upper eyelid and BAM! There you go - double eyelids (just like meee)
A nice distraction from other things.

| My birthday was recently, as facebook tells me.
And you know, I realized that for me, my own birthday isn't as important to me as other people's birthdays - their birthdays are days to express how much I appreciate them - a day to celebrate the fact that they exist.
This thanksgiving... I'm not going to list anything. Let's just say that I'm thankful to God for a lot in general.
But I'll highlight one thing - I'm extremely thankful for the friends I have. Why's that? Well of course they're friends, and that's reason enough. But I also think of the "college essays" they wrote for me (yes, LOL) - and I see that... they're good friends. The essays are funny, quirky, but most of all, they're... me. As in, So many of my idiosyncrasies that I don't even think about that often are in there; more importantly, none of them are total... glorifications. They're real. Through the essays... I see what sticks out about me - good and bad. My friends... they've seen both and know both. And it shows in their writing. But that's something to be glad about - these friends know me for more than an icon or a figure, but a human person with flaws that they tolerate and believe I can improve on... I don't want to presume too much, but I'd like to think that they appreciate who I am now, but also push me to be more, to be better. And that's all I can ask for.
Thanks.

| yay for the early being done. I forgot an award (gasp! not "ap scholar w/ honor" or whatever!), but i think i'll survive...
I did have some dreams of pages that I forgot about and optional essays that weren't really so optional that I also forgot... hehe I woke up worried. And then Common App went all crazy on me and for 10 min I was confused because it said "11/02/08" next to my app/supplement. But then I realized it was "downloaded 11/02/08"... haha
disney songs are quite good, and thanks to david, I now have a treasure trove of 'em.
They're quite nice and always bring smiles to my face :)
though I realized just how sorta sad some of them are - like "Best of Friends" from the Fox and the Hound:
If only the world wouldn't get in the way If only people would just let you play They'll say you're both being fools You're breaking all the rules They can't understand The magic of your wonderland
When these moments have passed will that friendship last? Who can say there's a way? Oh, I hope, I hope it never ends 'Cause you're the best of friends.
Quite nostalgic, wouldn't ya say?

| there's too much that can be written and too few essay spaces to fill.... sad.
i'm not exactly sure how, but i'm hoping to winnow down my list of 20 potential essay topics.
